Imaobong Eyibio is the MD/CEO of U&I Palm Enterprises. She is a graduate of Physics from the University of Uyo, Nigeria. Upon graduation and completion of national service, she worked briefly with Nigeria’s indigenous telecom company, Globacom as a sales executive, which enabled her acquire hands-on skills in customer relationship management, product development and promotion, human resource management and business networking. She later went on to establish her own company U&I Palm Enterprises with grants from the Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria YouWiN! programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Under her visionary leadership, the company has grown in revenue, product lines and social impact and consequently secured a number of other business expansion grants including grants from the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme, Diamond Bank Building Entrepreneurs Today BET6, the World Bank Funded GEM BIG Portal Programme among others.
Imaobong holds a Master’s degree in Radiation/Health Physics from the University of Uyo, Nigeria and is also an alumnus of the Pan-Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.
